Mr. Willie Reginald Glenn was born on February 3, 1950 to the late Willie Casper Glenn and Mary Beverly Glenn in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his earthly journey on March 17, 2020. He attended Paisley High School and worked for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. A proud mason, he was a member of Salem Lodge #139 Prince Hall Affiliate. On days when he took time to relax, Willie enjoyed fishing, gardening, and of course, playing Bingo. Mr. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Willie Casper Glenn and mother, Mary Beverly Glenn. He is survived by his children: Monica McCain, Willie Reginald Glenn, Jr. (Patrice), Stacey C. Coad, all of the city and Anthony Lamont Glenn of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren: La'Keisha London, Christian Thomas, Christopher Thomas, Jr., Jashaun Thomas, Tyquann Allen, LaReshia Glenn, Reginald Ahmad Glenn, Darrell Hunter, II, Julian Giavanni Johnson, Kristin Henderson, and Nyla Glenn; siblings, Jacqueline L. Hilton, Theodore Glenn (Miriam) all of Ft. Washington, MD, William and Priscilla G. Kerins of Ellicott City, MD, Doctors Robert and Beverly Glenn of Cheltenham, MD, and Michael R. Glenn of the city; a special cousin, Ronda Hill; a special friend, Brenda Rice; one uncle, Conrange V. Flack, Jr.; and a host of great grand-children, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service was held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family greeted friends following the service.
