On Saturday, October 29, 2022, God in His infinite wisdom called Mr. Willie Bernard Conrad, 83 home into his loving arms. Mr. Conrad was born on December 21, 1940 in Wadesboro, NC to the late Michael William and Maybelle Conrad.

Mr. Conrad graduated from Anderson County High School. He also attended Winston-Salem State University and was employed at Lincoln National Insurance for over 35 years and Prime America.

Spiritually, he was a lifelong member of Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church of Winston-Salem, N.C. where he served on multiple auxiliaries such as, the trustee ministry, PCBMC male chorus, gospel choir, soul winning team, and van ministry. He was also the Sunday school superintendent, supervisor of Baptist Training Union, and a lifelong member of the Brother Bill Pratt and the Gospel Crusaders. Additionally, he served in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Conrad was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Diane Conrad; son, Bernard Leon Cooke; brothers James Robert Conrad, Billy Conrad, Andrew Conrad Sr.; sisters Martha Leona Conrad, Viola McKinsey, Elizabeth McGee, Kathleen Cash and Itessi Robinson.

Mr. Conrad is survived by three sons, Willie B. Conrad Jr. (Jackie), Michael Conrad, and Marcus Conrad; one daughter, Dewanna Conrad, all of Winston-Salem, NC; nine grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing from 12 PM until 6 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2022 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 12 noon, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 132 West Glenn Avenue, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to service.
