William "Billy" Reeves, Jr. was born on August 31, 1940, to the late Dorothy Reeves and William E. Reeves, Sr. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winston Salem, NC. He was educated in the Davidson County Schools, and a 33-year retiree of R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Winston-Salem, NC. He was a freemason of Corinthian Lodge #17, Mocksville, NC. His favorite pastime was watching westerns and fishing. He prided himself on being a great dresser.

On Sunday, December 15, 2024, he departed his life at Trinity Elms Nursing Facility, surrounded by his family. William is survived by his wife of 63 years, Annestine Blair Reeves, his children, Stephon Reeves, Darlette (Sterling) Drummond, and William Christopher (Roshanda) Reeves, as well as10 grandchildren , 9 great grandchildren, 1 godson, a bonus adopted son, extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Edmond Reeves and Dorothy Ader Reeves and brother, Charlie Gray Reeves.

A memorial service will be held on December 20, 2024, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, located at 1075 Shalimar Drive in Winston Salem, NC, starting at 3 pm. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate William's life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church / Missionary Ministry in his memory, a cause close to William's heart.
