Mr. William Antonio Carpenter, age 32, was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on April 18, 1992. He peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024.

William cherished his roots and more than anything was a family man who adored his loved ones. Known for his infectious laughter and bound-less energy, he was the life of every gathering. His happiness and positivity illuminated the lives of those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the blessing of knowing him.

Among other family members, he was preceded in death by his son, Corey Plater.

William is survived by his daughter, Auriee Carpenter; parents, Latonya Carpenter and Antonio McQueen; brothers, Allen Leon Binns, Jr. and Antonio McQueen, Jr.; his grandmothers, Wilma Taylor and Vanessa McQueen; grandfather, Michael Brooks; great-grandmother, Lilly Mae Brooks; additionally, his fiancée, Lakeysha Nelums; Auriee's mother, Jaysha Hyatt; four uncles, one aunt, two nephews, and one niece. He was loved by several cousins and claimed many others as family.

There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
