My son, Wesley Lee Alexander, Jr., made his earthly appearance on February 6, 1992. On December 8, 2025, he passed unexpectedly.

He was educated in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. Wesley decided to go to high school before he was scheduled to go. Early that summer he attended summer school and was able to skip the 8th grade and go directly to high school.

His love for our Lord began at an early age with encouragement from family. Wesley would hold church at his grandparent's home with his cousin.

At the age of 15, he had his first job. He developed his love for cars early in his life. If he said he wanted a car, he would work and save money until he could buy it. He was a true hustler. He bought and sold cars, if the money was right. Later, using his talent, Wesley was employed as a mechanic at Daimler Truck.

Among his favorite things: he loved coaching youth foot ball teams; he really loved oatmeal and spaghetti; and his favorite movie was the "War Room". Wesley's favorite color was green; favorite football team, Green Bay Packers; and favorite college team, Duke.

He loved tennis shoes and had hundreds of them through-out his life. He also considered himself a master chef.

Wesley was blessed to have 8 beautiful children whom he loved dearly. He was a devoted father. His oldest, Genesis and daughter Pure Alexander (mother, Tiffiny), Wesley Lee Alexander, III (mother, Lakeeta), Winston Alexander (mother, Kelly), Zy'yaire Alexander (mother, Ziferia), Kaylani Alexander (mother, A'yanna), O'Shea Washington (mother, Tenisha), and K'west Alexander (mother Aiyanna).

Those who will mourn his passing in addition to his 8 children are: his devoted mother, Denise Gilliam Barner (Derrick); father, Wesley Lee Alexander, Sr.; siblings, Jerimiah Gilliam, Darius Alexander, Kiara Alexander; grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of friends.

Memorial service for Mr. Alexander will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
