Ms. Wanda Yvonne Henry, 74 was born July 17, 1950 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Robert Lee Henry and Georgia Mae Henry. She departed this life peacefully on November 19, 2024 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Wanda was employed by Western Electric and American Greetings. Her career continued with Wells Fargo prior to her retirement.

She was intentional about spending time with and the love she held for her family. Her other passion, from which she found great joy, was shopping.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Henry and Georgia Mae Henry.

Left to cherish many memories are: one daughter, Chenita Goodman of Winston-Salem, NC; two sons, Derek Goodman of Leominster, MA and Duane Goodman of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Tiara, Dajon, Ta'shawna, Josiah, Isaiah, Dana, Raven, Solis, Zenia, Mykaila, Devin, Dyllane; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Aiden, Kendal, Esia, Zori, Gia, Melanie, Chella, Charleaux, Chuuni; two sisters, Kay (Ronnie) Sockwell of Winston-Salem, NC and Monica Rousseau of Virginia Beach, VA; a devoted friend of many years, Ms. Claretta Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons. The family will greet friends thirty-minutes prior to service.
