Mr. Tyrone M. Boyd, 71, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 following a period of illness. He was born on February 25, 1947 in Winston-Salem to the late John Boyd and Lillie Moses Boyd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Airman James M. Boyd.

Mr. Boyd attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools and was a graduate of Atkins High School. He loved good food and listening to music.

Mr. Boyd is survived by his loving sister, Peggy Boyd Johnson; nieces: Angela Boyd, Dr. PaDonda Boyd-Webb (Richard), Kaiah Webb, Kamryn Campbell, Shaudia Boyd, Ranesha Boyd, and Jasmine Hughes; nephews: Rodney (Kesiah) Boyd, Malcolm Boyd, Rodney Kenyare, Tyreel, DeAndre, Rashad and Keishawn Boyd; cousins: Magnolia Perkins, Earshlen Edwards of Dinwiddie, VA, Shirley Dawley of Petersburg, VA; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
