Troney Renard Walker, the son of Nellie Brantley and Robert (Doris) Walker passed on Thursday, April 10, 2025. He was born October 1, 1968 in Forsyth County.

Troney was educated in the Forsyth County School System. During his adult life he resided in Ohio and Charlotte, North Carolina and worked as a forklift operator.

He was mechanically inclined and was willing to share his gift by helping others.

Troney was preceded in death by his son, Jermaine Walker; sister, Tanya Walker.

Surviving and cherishing his memory, his mother, Nellie Brantely; father, Robert (Doris) Walker; four children, Tyron Walker, Jaysha Walker, Gayle Walker, and Troney Walker, Jr.; 8 grandchildren; one brother, Robert Walker, II; six aunts; 6 uncles; 3 nieces; 5 nephews; a god-sister, Glendora Payne; and a host of relatives and friends.
