Treshawn J. Plater was born November 6, 1999 in Winston-Salem, NC. He passed away unexpectedly on December 14, 2021.

Treshawn attended Reynolds High School where he showed his love for basketball.

Mr. Plater is preceded in death by his mother, Tanaisha Butler; great-great grandmother, Virginia Plater; grandmother, Josephine Plater; and great grandfather, James Butler.

Treshawn leaves to cherish his memories, his father, James Plater, III (Pamela); two brothers, Tremayne Butler and Jaquan Butler; grandmother, Debbie Butler; great grandmother, Deloris Butler; grandfathers, James Plater, Jr., Randy and Miles; two aunts, Jessica Plater and Stephanie Griffin; uncle, Anthony Butler; and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Plater will be private and there will be no public viewing.
