Tracy R.
Kinser
Dec 22, 1971 — Jul 27, 2025
Tracy Richard Kinser, affectionately known as "Speedy" to all who knew and loved him, passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 53. Born in Ohio on December 22, 1971, Tracy was raised in the hills of Chapmanville, West Virginia, and later made his home in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Tracy was a man of motion and momentum—a truck driver by trade and a true lover of the open road. He found peace behind the wheel and pride in his work, spending countless miles doing what he loved. Whether in an 18-wheeler or on a motorcycle, Tracy lived his life with the pedal down and his heart wide open.
He had a deep love for anything fast—Corvettes, bikes, and the thrill of the ride were more than hobbies; they were part of who he was. His passion was only rivaled by his soft spot for dogs, who were his constant and loyal companions.
To his family and friends, he was simply "Speedy"—a nickname that captured both his love for speed and his vibrant, full-throttle approach to life. He made an impression everywhere he went, and his stories, laughter, and presence will be missed beyond measure.
Tracy is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Vance and Richard Lee Kinser of Chapmanville, WV.
He is survived by his two beloved sons, Trace Michael Kinser, 29, of Salisbury, NC, and Tayler Addison Kinser, 23, of Statesville, NC. They were his greatest source of pride and the legacy he leaves behind.
Tracy's life was one of passion, grit, and loyalty. He rode hard, loved fiercely, and lived freely.
A private Graveside service will be held at 5025 US HWY 601, Salisbury, NC on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at 1:00 pm to honor his life. The Clark S Brown & Sons Funeral Home is serving the Kinser family.
In remembrance of Tracy, the family suggests donations be made to a local dog rescue or animal shelter—something he would have deeply appreciated.
Ride on, dad. Your road doesn't end here.
