Timothy D. Coleman, 59 departed this life on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home surrounded by family. He was born on May 23, 1958 to the late Mae Sue Spease and Oscar "Buck" Coleman. He was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and served honorably for 20 years as a US Marine. Timothy was well known for his love for his favorite team, UNC tar Heels.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, his surrogate mother, Treva Williams; two sisters: Mildred Watlington and Carrie Coleman Gray; three brothers: Oscar "Sunny" Coleman, James Coleman and Theodore "Bay Bay" Coleman. He leaves to cherish their loving memories: his wife, Devora Coleman; children: Timothy, Jr., Tony (Julie), Terence and Domonica Coleman; step children: Deneille Hairston, Devon Hairston, Denasha (Stephon) Smith, Denika (Terrance) Scriven; nine grandchildren; sisters: Elease Jackson, Mattie (Johnny) Glenn, Gloria (Tommy) Phillips and brother, Fredrick Coleman; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home on Monday.
