Teresa A. Blair was born on June 6, 1970 in Winston-Salem, NC to Lewis Taylor and Betty McGriff who both predeceased her. On March 20, 2021, she completed her earthly assignment.

She received her formal education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System and attended the original S.G. Atkins High School. As a member of Antioch Baptist Church, her religious training continued. Previously employed as a cosmetologist, she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Sarah Blair; brother, Tony McGriff; aunt, Odessa Bristol; and cousins Linda Brannon and Victoria Petree.

She is survived by her husband, Adis Blair; daughters, Antonia (Floyd) Whisonant and Sherrkia McGriff; sons, Larry (Tiffany)McGriff and Richard Melton; grandchildren, Joseph Brown, Brielle McGriff, Shedrick Johnson Jr., Taliyah Johnson, Allie Brown, Braylen and Brayden McGriff, Floyd Whisonant Jr. and Israel Whisonant; sisters, Thelma (Raymond) Carroll, Catherine (Thomas) Booth, Willette (Roscoe) Boyd, Megan (Jarrett) Brooks, and Toni Higginbotham; brother, Jerry McGriff; and a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Victor (Courtney) Jones, Mildred Black, and Michelle (Michael) Robertson.

Funeral service will be private due to COVID 19 restrictions.
