Mr. Theodore Roosevelt was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 31, 1943 to the late Lewis Wilson and Sarah Peterson Wilson. He attended the local schools in Forsyth County. As a youth and young adult, Roosevelt attended St. Paul United Methodist Church. After the death of his mother, Mr. Wilson relocated to New York. He enjoyed football, basketball and art. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Wilson Singletary. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Mollie Williams Wilson; children, Lorenzo, Linda, Theodore, Jeffery (Shelia), and Bryant, all of Winston-Salem, Shank, Nikita and Kishana, all of Bronx, New York; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters: Mildred Thomas, Nell Brown and Jean Carolyn ((Ivery) Nunley; a host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
