Shelia was born in Winston-Salem, NC on September 27, 1953 to the late Bobby Gene Hauser, Sr. and Rosemary Lowery Powe. She transitioned to her rest at 9am on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at her home with her daughter by her side.

Sheila's greatest joys were being surrounded by family and friends. You could count on her to be loving on her pets, joking around, laughing and swapping childhood stories. She cherished every moment of fellowship. She was known for putting a smile on the faces of everyone she encountered with her quick wit, sense of humor, and radiant personality. If you didn't have a smile, she certainly would give you one of hers. Her favorite phrases were, "What you cooking?" & "What you got good to eat?" Shelia was amazingly resilient. She was truly a survivor and a woman of remarkable strength.

Shelia loved her family, her friends and most of all she knew and loved the Lord. Even in her weakest moments her smile would light the room and she could be heard whispering in prayer, "Oh Lord, I thank ya"!

Shelia, affectionately known as "Lish" to her family and close friends, was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years Tonny Jarrett, Sr.; and her devoted companion, John Williams.

Remaining to cherish her memories include her daughter, caregiver and Pride & Joy, Carla Hauser; bonus children, Pamela Jarrett, Maria Ormond & Tonny Jarrett Jr.; Brother, Michael Hauser; two sisters, Sherron Richardson & Deidre' Holley; a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins & her outstanding "Family of Friends".

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, April 11, 2025 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Service 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
