Sereniti Jo'Nell Samuels was born on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Winston-Salem, NC to Shanell Perry-Samuels and Joseph Samuels, Jr. She received her angel's wings on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Among those ancestors who lovingly awaited her heavenly entrance were her maternal great-great- grandmother, Virginia F. Smith; maternal great-grandmother, Peggy A. Perry and paternal great- grand-father, Jason Shannon.

To honor and forever cherish her memory are her par-ents; brothers, Shammond Perry and Jo'Siah Samuels; maternal grandmother, Nell Foster Perry; maternal grandfather, Mark Perry; paternal grandmother, Mada-liene Lindsay; paternal grandfather, Joseph Samuels, Sr.; aunt, Donna Foster; maternal great grandmother, Kathleen Foster; paternal great grandmother, Madalene Shannon; god mother, Natalie Perry and a host of other relatives.

A memorial service was held in her honor at 12 noon on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Mt. Glory Baptist Church, 214 N. Dunleith Avenue in Winston-Salem, NC
