Mr. Samuel Wesley Roseboro, Jr., was born November 28, 1971 to Samuel Wesley Roseboro, Sr. and the late Gloria Dean Porter. He departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Affectionally known to family and friends, as "Big Redd" was a lifelong resident of Winston Salem, NC. He was educated in the Forsyth County School System and received an associate's degree from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2016. "Big Redd" was employed with the City of Winston, which he was proud of.

Samuel, Jr. leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter; Qu'Aisia White of New Hampshire, father; Samuel Sr. of Winston Salem, NC, his caring friend; Caralyn Gordon, brother; Gerald Roseboro, sisters; Sendra Starnes (Glenn), Tomeka Roseboro (Roderick), Virginia Marshall (Darrion, Michelle McCormick all of Winston Salem, NC, nephews; Roderick, Sean, Gerald Jr., Gerron, Darrion Jr., Deonte, John, Anthony, nieces; Taryn, T'Kaila, Sydnie, Teneisha, Rena, KiKi, & Tara, great-niece and nephews: Jace, Lauren, Noah, Roderick III and Matheus. Extended brothers; Terry Gardner and Javon "Jody" McMahan. Cousins who were like brothers Brian; McIntyre, Brandon Lockhart, Josh Vinson, Jamar Porter and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him.

Funeral service for Mr. Roseboro will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 13, 2025 at Friendship Baptist Church. The family will begin greeting friends at 12 Noon until the funeral hour. Public viewing of Mr. Roseboro will be from 1:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the funeral home.
