Mrs. Rosa M. Thompson, 84, was born November 13, 1932 in Forsyth County to the late James and Mozelle Lincoln. She was a graduate of Atkins High School, Class of 1951. Mrs. Thompson transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center after a period of illness.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Maggie Bea Lincoln and Bettye Jean Lincoln Williams.

She leaves to cherish their memories: her son, Dwight Anthony (Tamara) Thompson; grandchildren, Victoria and Dwight, Jr.; sisters: Mattie McMillan, Shirley (Aaron) Hall, Earline Harry, and Gloria (Arthur) Hunder, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Thompson will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Canaan Baptist Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Special thanks to her cousin, Bertha Parks, who made sure that her nails and hair were always beautiful.
