Richard Delano Johnson, affectionately known as "Dicky", was born August 8, 1948 to the late Ruby Johnson Roberts and Robert Taylor. He passed away January 31, 2021 after a brief period of illness.

Before retiring, Mr. Johnson worked faithfully as a baker for over 40 years at Dewey's Bakery in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Charmelle Commadore.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his long time companion, Crystal Johnson; a son, Rodney (Keisha) Boyd; daughters, Chanel (DeSean) Barron and Angela Boyd; his loving grandchildren, Ebony, Stephon, Rodney Jr., Kenyare, Ranesha, Jasmine, Tyrell, De'Andre, Keishawn, Rashad, McKelsey, McKenzie, Padonda, Shaudia and Malcolm; ten great-grandchildren; his former wife, Peggy Johnson; and a host of family and friends
