Mr. Richard Lloyd Jarvis Sheff, Sr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was born to the late Ethel Mitchell Sheff and Bascom Sheff in Rural Hall, North Carolina on January 22, 1939.

Jarvis, as he was known to family, friends and co-workers, retired from Thomasville Furniture Company (Maintenance Department) in Winston-Salem following thirty years of service. He was a lifelong member of Saint James United Methodist Church in Rural Hall and a member of the United Methodist Men.

Along with his parents, also preceding him in death was his wife Martha, brothers: Bascom, Jr., Elijah and Jessie Sheff; sisters, Mamie Heath and Margaret Mitchell.

A Service of Loving Memories will be held at 12:30 pm on June 16, 2016 at St. James United Methodist Church in Rural Hall, North Carolina.
