Mr. Richard Edward Hairston, Jr. better known as "Slick", a native of Winston-Salem, N.C. He was a devoted welder and recently promoted as a manager at HMF Express in Doraville, GA. He was a great asset to his company and left everlasting memories. He was a beloved son, brother and father.

He was blessed with his loving parents Beverly Hairston and Richard Edward Hairston, Sr. (Sharon), who survived him.

Slick is survived by his 'Queens' who were his world: Chardonnay Staree Hairston and Kershyna JeNaye Hairston; Bonus son, Jontaye; sisters, Starlisha (Star) & Shenika; brothers, Timothy (Reisha), Carlton (Magda), Jamaal and Jehu; grandsons, Mazhi and Carter; aunts, Marie, Wanda (Collin), Naomi, Shelia, Carolyn (Reginald); uncles, Raiford Sr. (Marie), Ronda, Nathaniel Sr., Terry and Charles; forty nieces and nephew who all called him 'Uncle Slick' and a host of friends and family.

Funeral service will be private. A public viewing will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
