Mr. Raynard Reaves was born July 6, 1954, in Mullins, South Carolina to the late Earline Gadson Blair and Albert Fieta. He passed away April 24, 2026 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Raynard worked at Mountain Fried Chicken for 15 years helping to prepare famous mouthwatering selections for loyal customers. He enjoyed watching westerns and found great satisfaction and peace when fishing. He also loved spending time at his favorite Internet Cafés and visiting his cousin in Washington, D.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carmen Reaves; grandson, Jalen Covington; and brother, Albert Gadson.

Mr. Reaves is survived by a daughter, Latasha Covington; a grand-daughter, Carmen Covington; a sister, Shirley Blair; brothers, Leon Blair, Reginald Archie, and Jeffery Wright (Monica); caregiver and sister-in-law, Patricia Wright (Mike Shore); sister-in-law, Jennifer Huffin; a very special nephew-in-law, Eric Wright; two favorite cous-ins, Janice McCray and Jerry McCray; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 12:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2026 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends thirty-minutes prior to service followed by interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
