Quiana Elainna Smith passed on July 16, 2025. She was born on March 28, 1986 to Pamela Smith and Derrick Brown in Cuyahoga, OH.

Quiana was a selfless person. A woman of many talents, qualities and abilities. She was the epitome of strength. She lit up the room even if she was on the phone, she made sure everyone was at their best before she was.

Her heartbeat was her family, but her universe was her children: Sha'lexus, Christopher and Sharia Sanders. She raised them with unwavering love and intentionality, teaching them the value of having a big heart of succeeding with no limits and to always have each other, no matter what.

Quiana was more than a mother, she was a nurturer, protector, teacher and best friend. Her children were her pride and joy; and everything she did was rooted in ensuring their growth, happiness, and success. Through every challenge, she remained resilient always pushing forward with grace and grit. She instilled in her children the belief that they could be anything, do anything, and overcome anything. She didn't preach it, she lived it.

To know Quiana was to witness the true meaning of love in action. Whether it was her warm smile, her endless encouragement, or her quiet sacrifices, she left a lasting imprint on every life she touched. Her legacy lives on in the strength, unity, and purpose she poured into her children-her greatest masterpiece.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters, Sha'lexus Sanders and Sheria Sanders and son, Chris Sanders of Kannapolis, North Carolina; her parents, Pamela Smith and Derrick Brown; sister, Ashley Brown; brothers, Derrick L. Brown and Dematrius Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

There will be no public viewing for Miss Smith. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
