Obituary

Once upon a time in the beautiful Kingdom of Heaven, God saw that Jervey Clark and Amaharia Harris needed a special gift that would fill their lives with joy. On October 26, 2015 in Winston-Salem, NC, God decided to send a little princess to earth and named her Ja'Nyila Airiam Clark. It was clear that Princess Ja'Nyila was a descendant of God's magnificent Kingdom because she began her assignment the day she arrived on earth.

Ja'Nyila as young as she was, touched the hearts and lives of all who came in contact with her. She attended Speas Global Elementary School and was loved by her teachers and classmates. She enjoyed spending time with her family, music, reading, loved wearing her bows and really adored her aunt, Manaiya.

On June 4, 2022, Ja'Nyila passed away unexpectantly and received a special invitation from God to return to Heaven. Her great-grandmother, Miriam Harris was waiting next to Jesus at the gate ready to receive princess Ja'Nyila with open arms.

She was preceded in death by her great-great grandparents, Melissa Harris, Mariam Harris, Hope E. Harris and Lewis Harris, Sr.

To cherish her memory, Princess Ja'Nyila leaves her mother, Amaharia Harris of Winston-Salem, NC and her father Jervey Clark of Winston-Salem, NC; a special aunt, Manaiya Manley of Winston-Salem, NC; two sisters, Miracle Frieson of Winston-Salem, NC and Journee Byers of South Carolina; two brothers, Elijah Little of South Carolina and Jermerie Frieson of Winston-Salem, NC; her grandparents, Charlene Moses and Maurice Manley all of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Princess Ja'Nyila will be publicly viewed Monday, June 13, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home. A Royal celebration will be at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Clark S. Brown and Sons Chapel. *Masks are required.
