Paul Monroe Spease was born on April 6, 1947 to Carrington Spease and Betty Jane Davis Spease Kiser. At the age of 77, he passed away on July 2, 2024.

A native of Tobaccoville, NC, he attended Carver High School in Winston-Salem, NC. His employment included time with KFC and more than 46 years with Cliff Harvel's Moving Company, where management considered him to be dedicated and a hard worker.

Those who preceded him in death were his parents, Carrington and Betty Jane Spease; brothers, Edward Junior Spease, Richard Gary Spease, and John Carrington Spease.

Survivors include: a daughter, Jawanna Spease; stepson, Ranell Wilson; sister, Mary Jane Spease; brother, Allen Spease; grandsons, Jalelland Jamel Spease; granddaughter, Jalessa Searcy; five nieces and nephews; his coworkers at Cliff Harvel's Moving Company and Calvin Parrish.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends thirty-minutes prior to service.
