December 21, 2022, Ms. Montana Stimpson, 70, a native of Winston Salem, N.C. gained her wings officially and went to her heavenly home. She was born to the late Irene Hughes Hairston and Robert B. Stimpson, Sr. on July 6, 1952.

Montana, was the very meaning of "Life and Love". With no hesitation, she shared her wisdom, light, and caring for you with every encounter. Montana's presence was a priceless gift and the love she shared will live on forever.

She attended Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools and graduated from Parkland High School. Montana worked as a supervisor at Forsyth Medical Center until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Hughes Hairston and Robert B. Stimpson, Sr.; daughter, Myra Stimpson; brother, James Hairston, Sr.; and sister, Princella H. Lash.

She leaves her light to shine on in her: daughter, Rashena Stimpson, three sons: Tommie L. Fair, Rashard B. Stimpson, and Robert B. (Angela) Stimpson, Jr.; her sister, Inez H. Davis, two brothers: Michael (Phyllis) Hairston and Quinton Hairston; three grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. *Masks required.
