Mrs. Mildred Dodson Heath was born September 16, 1936 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Annie L. Dodson.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Kenneth Heath; surrogate mother, Mertha Wright; sisters, Bernice Dodson and Mary Lou Wilds.

Mildred leaves to cherish their memories of her, three sons: Vincent Heath of Winston Salem, NC; Anthony (Tina) Heath of Vineland, NJ; John (Tasha) Heath of Greensboro, NC; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Karen White of Winder, GA; cousin like a brother, Robert (Catherine) Smith of Winston-Salem, NC, sisters-in-law: Zetilda "Zeti" Warburton of Queens, NY; Lasylvia Heath of Texas; Yvonne Heath of Springfield, Jamaica; brother-in-law, Nathan Heath of Canada; surrogate sons, Cyril Lee and Jeffrey Burgess; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Heath will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
