Born April 26, 1948 in Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Gene Bullock was the son of his late parents, Delores McGee and Dempsey Bullock. He transitioned life February 8, 2022 at Novant Health Center following several months of illness.

Upon graduation from Anderson High School, Michael entered the US Military where he served his country in Vietnam as a paratrooper in the US Army 82 nd Airborne.

Military service and his enate capacity to tinker with electronics prepared him for a career in aviation at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in California. He spent many years working there before returning home. This decision gave Michael the desires of his heart; being close to family, friends and grand kids. He especially enjoyed holiday gatherings filled with laughter, foolish talking and great food.

Those who shared these moments to remember include his children: Michelle Dillard, Tawanna Bullock, Temesha Bullock Lockhart, April Purcell, Summer Bullock, Terrance Bullock; his ten grand kids; and four great grands.

Other family members include his sisters: Pamela Towler, Gayle Bullock, Tanya Johnson of Detroit, MI; brother Dorian Hairston (deceased) of Philadelphia, PA; nephew, Mark Towler; beloved cousins, Evelyn, Fred, and Franklin Terry, plus a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held for Mr. Bullock on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
