Mrs. Mary Louise Walker was born on February 24, 1944 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Zeb Sheff and Sofia Avery Sheff. She attended Paisley High School and was a caregiver for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching movies and westerns on TV.

She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Connell Walker; and sisters: Joann Sheff and Barbara Sheff Rankin.

She is survived by her three sons: Timothy Sheff, Philemon (Volivia) Wilkes and Kenneth (Tasha) Wilkes; grandchildren: Sherra' (Lorinza) Watkins, Shawnta' (Tory) Elbert, Lakisha (Bennie) Oates, Terrell (Felicia) Fuiell, Carissa Wilkes, Olivia Wilkes, Tieka Wilkes, Tia Wilkes, Kondra Wilkes Truesdale, Tiona Howell, Samiya Garrison; a host of great grandchildren; brother, Zeb Sheff, Jr.; devoted friends: Gloria Barber, Otellia Hatchett and Loretta Hatchett; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
