Mary Eleanor Mack Crosby passed away on January 17, 2018 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mary was born January 6, 1927 in Anderson, SC to the late Will and Alice Mack. She moved to Winston-Salem, NC where she spent most of her adult life.

Mary was a member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Nurses Board. Mary was a homemaker and a very generous and loving person.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Crosby, sons: Willie H. Crosby, Sr. and Bobby R. Crosby, four brothers: Harry, Willie, Henry and James Mack.

She leaves to cherish their memories of her: two daughters: Hattie (Willie) Squire and Julia C. Moore; three sons: Rev. Stoney (Cynthia), Johnny and George (Carolyn) Crosby, all of Winston-Salem; a devoted daughter-in-law, Bonita Crosby; more than twenty-seven grandchildren and over thirty-five great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ann (Jesse) Rice of Anderson, SC; two brothers-in-law: Vernon Crosby of Anderson, SC and Bing (Dorothy) Crosby of Morristown, NJ; a devoted friend, Ms. Annie Mae Squire; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, January 25, 2018 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor James E. Cook, officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
