Mareo Lazareth Henderson was born July 6, 1977, in Thomasville, North Carolina to Patsy Cryetta Henderson. Growing up, Mareo had many loving families. Two to mention are Rik Hoskins and Mareo's brother, Dustin R. Freeman Hoskins. Mareo spent his latter days with his Bell Coles family, Terrance and Nedrea and guardian Marlena Bell. They welcomed him with open arms, and he immediately became attached to the whole family.

Mareo loved helping people; he volunteered at Novant Health Center passing out bulletins and helped assist at his Day Program at Top Priority Care Services. Mareo was an enthusiastic member of Greater Grace Temple Greensboro and love his pastor. Mareo loved shopping and before the pandemic, would not hesitate to share a hug with someone. Mareo was so loveable and affectionate and could be seen smiling across the room at any given time; he could light up a room with his twinkling eyes and dazzling smile!

On Thursday, December 23, 2021, Mareo's golden heart stopped beating. He leaves to cherish his memory loving parents: Rik Hoskins, Terrance and Nedrea Coles; siblings: Malaka, Marlena (Earl), Corez, TC, Trenton (Chevelle), Terran (Kourtney), Dustin and George of North Carolina, and Dougie of Michigan; a special friend, Linda; and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing for Mr. Henderson will be Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be private.
