Mrs. Louise Galloway Gray Crosby was born in Winston-Salem on January 19, 1940 to the late Mildred Galloway. She was a graduate of Reynolds High School. Louise spent her life as a full-time wife and mother. Mrs. Crosby was a member of Exodus Baptist Church where she served on the usher board and was a mother of the church. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Crosby was preceded in death by both of her husbands, James Burwin Gray and George Crosby; her grandfather, Russell Galloway and uncles: Slim, Bud and Jarvis Galloway. She is survived by her daughters: Sharon Sheff and Doris Dargan; sons: James (Catherine) Galloway, Kennard Galloway and Raymond Galloway; twenty grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; aunt, Reba Galloway; uncle, Reuben Galloway; other relatives and friends.

A service in her memory will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
