A'Stara Ashanté Flowers entered this world as a ray of sunshine on September 27, 2019 in Winston-Salem, NC, much to the delight of her parents, Antone NaTal Flowers and Anna Mercedes Kelly. After a brief visit of four years, while winning the hearts of many in her family, twilight surrounded her on Tuesday, December 6, 2023.

As an inquisitive and energetic child, she enjoyed watching Elmo on TV, jumping on a trampoline, eating Happy Meals, riding her bike, playing with her building blocks, and like most children her age, rearranging things just after you cleaned up.

Surviving to cherish her memory are: her parents; sisters, LaKayla Flowers and LaJada Flowers; brothers, Kevin Flowers, Antone Flowers II, and A'VizZion Flowers; maternal grandmother, Terry Lynn Kelly; paternal grandmother; Leslie Flowers Patton-Santana; great grandmother, Ossie Steed Flowers; uncle, Braxton Ramon Flowers, aunts, Erin Janay Cuthrell, Orriana Patton Perry, Sonya Jolyn Flowers and Chemika Stephens; and a host of cousins.

There will be no viewing. A Memorial service will be Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 4:30 PM in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
