Lesia L. Hines received her heavenly wings on October 17, 2025 following a long period of illness. She was born on June 5, 1963 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Betty Ann Samuels and Hubert Lee Samuels.

She received her formal education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. In the community, she trained and worked as a unit secretary for 35 years at Baptist Medical Center, now Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

Lesia was preceded in death by her mother; sister, Patsy Ann Con-rad Mitchell; and a brother, Hubert Lee Samuels, Jr. Those who survive her include: loving sons, Jemond Samuels and Austin Samuels; two grandsons, DaMajay Samuels and Jemari Samuels; one granddaughter, Jemayla Samuels; six siblings, Peggy Conrad, Karen Samuels Gray (Marvin), Darrell Samuels, Gary Samuels, Rodney Samuels, and Carlton Samuels; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 1:00 PM, Friday, October 31, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends thirty-minutes prior to service.
