Ms. LaTasha K. Howell, 40, was born on July 19, 1976 to the late Donna Howell and Allen Elder. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. "Tasha" was a 1993 graduate of East Forsyth High School. She spent most of her professional career as a CNA with Reliance Health Care. She is survived by her daughters: Tiona Howell, Tyeka and Tia Wilkes; granddaughter: Taliya Howell; father, Allen Elder; fiance', Kenny Wilkes; 5 sisters; 2 brothers; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at 12:30 PM followed by the funeral service at 1:30 PM. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. For a copy of the funeral program, click here
