Larry Darnell Fulp, Sr. was born in Winston-Salem, NC on March 3, 1953 to the late Robert and Anna Mae Hairston Fulp. Having completed his earthly assignments, he was called to his heavenly home on February 18, 2023.

A graduate of Carver High School, he continued his education and training and began his professional career. His employment included the position of Engineer with Morrison Knudsen, and Blueprint Developer with RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. Later he became a member of the Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home staff.

He exercised his faith as a member of the Assembly of Lord Jesus Christ Church. When not working or participating in church ministries, Larry enjoyed repairing cars, music, especially if he was the DJ, helping his father on the farm, and coaching baseball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Farah Fulp and a brother Robert Fulp, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, his children: Brandon Butterfield, D'Tonya Dean, and Larry Darnell (Jennifer) Fulp, Jr.; seven grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Shirley) Fulp; sisters, Margie (Reginald) Cunningham and Sarah (Wali) Salaam; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 2:00 PM, Friday, February 24, 2023 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to service. Interment in Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Walkertown, North Carolina.
