Kisha Louise Adams, 42, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, peacefully transitioned home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Born on Sunday, July 1, 1984 in Winston-Salem, NC. Kisha was the cherished daughter of Karen Adams and the late James Hatcher.

Kisha was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose presence brought love and joy to those around her. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laughter, generous spirit, kindness and love for her friends and family. Kisha found joy in spending time with family and friends. Her love was evident in the meaningful relationships she shared with those closets to her.

Throughout Kisha's life, she touched the hearts of many. Kisha accomplished various advanced degrees, including a Master's degree in Information Science from Central University. With this knowledge, Kisha enjoyed helping the aging population find resources. She enjoyed being an advocate for her clients.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Hatcher; grandparents; aunts; and uncles; and many other loved ones whose memories remained a cherished part of her life.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted mother, Karen Adams; her siblings, Tisha Davis (Richard), Angela Blackwell, Nancy Eldridge, Janice Hatcher; sister-cousin, Shameka Williams; sister-friend, Jennifer Bills; cherished nieces and nephews, Dashaun, Brianna, Kamiya, Antione, Michael Jr., Alysa, Jessica, James, Toya, Ciera, and Tristen; beloved great-nieces and nephews, Amila, Amir, Renailey and Bronxon; she was fondly remembered by a host of close and loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, including the McMillan, Adams, Williams, Hatcher, and Dearmon families as well as dear friends who shared her journey through life for decades.

Although Kisha's time with us was far too short, the love she shared, the memories she created, and the lives she touched will remain in our hearts forever.

There will be no public viewing of Miss Adams. A memorial service 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 3, 2026 at St. John CME Church, 350 NW Crawford PL, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27105.
