Mr. Kelly McKenzie Spease was born on November 11, 1966 to Mr. Joseph Lee Rucker and the late Nancy Spease in Yadkinville, North Carolina. He passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

Kelly received his formal education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public schools and attended Mount Tabor High School. He was employed by West Rock as a machine operator and attended Mercy Seat Holy Church.

Kelly loved riding his motorcycle and was a fan of the Buffalo Bills Football Team.

Mr. Spease is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Spease;grandfather, James Rucker; close friend, Stacy Toney.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include, daughters, Lauren Spease and Kellie Pearson; father, Joseph Lee Rucker;stepmother, Burnu Rucker; sisters, Tara and Ieshia Hardy;grandmother, Ruby Rucker; uncles, Ulysses Rucker, Artis Rucker, Sandford Rucker; aunt, Mildred Rucker; aunt-in-law, Theresa Rucker; nieces, Iyonna and Iyonte Hardy; nephews, Wesley Moore Shutts, Jr., Isley Hardy; cousins, Lucy Fletcher, Porsha Fletcher, Charles Rucker, Calvin Rucker, Charlene Rucker, Carlos Rucker, Brian Rucker, Eric Rucker, Valerie Joyner, and Laparrisha Reid.

There will be no public viewing for Mr. Spease. A memorial service will take place at 2:30 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Family visitation will be thirty minutes prior to service. *Masks are required.
