Jordan Denard Lash, 44, passed away on December 29 th at Atrium Baptist Medical Center after a cardiac arrest and subsequent brain injury. He was born on March 23, 1980 in Winston-Salem, NC to George Wayne Lash and Nancy Logan Lash.

Jordan graduated from Mount Tabor High School in 1998, then he attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he walked on the basketball team. He later graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business. Jordan joined Womble Bond Dickinson in 2010 where he was a Collaboration Engineer.

In addition to basketball, Jordan was an avid golfer, playing at many local and national courses during his travels and participating in various tournaments, including the Skinner Memorial Scholarship Tournament. He also loved the beach and boating on Lake Norman, where he found his alter ego, "Lake Life Lash".

Jordan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Ida Lash; and maternal grandparents, Nannie Kate Sanders Logan Wright and Fred Logan, Sr.; aunt, Lillie Burgin; and uncles, Jerry Byers and Walter Burgin.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother and father; brother, Gary Lash, Sr.; sister, Logan Lash; nephews, Christopher Richardson (Nyerra) and Gary Lash Jr. (Madison); niece, Anastasia Lash; aunts, Mary Logan Johnson, Linda Arlene Boone and Roslyn Logan; uncle, Fred Logan, Jr.; sister-in-law Kimberly Edwards; and first and second cousins from the Logan and Lash families; and a host of other family, friends and colleagues.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service 2:00 PM, Monday, January 6, 2025 at Praise Assembly Church, 3254 Kernersville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment in Bethlehem AME Zion Church Cemetery.
