Mr. John H. Greer, Jr., 59, aka "Spunkey" was born January 5, 1958 in Winston-Salem to Mr. John H. Greer, Sr. and the late Susie Lane Greer. The Lord called him home on April 5, 2017.

Spunkey was a gentle giant, was kind to everyone and loved being around his family.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Greer and his brother, Aldrick Greer.

Left to celebrate his life are his father: John H. Greer, Sr.; daughter, Shanita Moses; 3 sisters: Marie Greer, of the home, Cynthia Greer (Ray) and Teresa McLean (JD); 2 brothers: Leonard (Sonja) Greer and Jermaine Greer; two grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A service in his memory will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Greater Hope of Glory Missionary Baptist Church.
