Jemel Lewis Williams, Sr. was born August 9, 1988 to Phyllis Giselle Staton and Jimmy Lee Williams Sr. Jemel was a member of House of Prayer FMPM of Hamlet, NC. Jemel enjoyed cooking, spending time with family and friends and traveling. Jemel was the owner and operator of Taylor Made Cutz and Taylor Made Auto Detailing LLC. Jemel departed life on earth Monday September 7, 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers: Florence Staton, Creole Williams, Dorothy Haskell; his father, Jimmy Lee Williams, Sr.; sister, Tashauna Staton; aunts: Karen and Deborah Haskell; nephew, Joshua Staton; uncle, Johnny Williams. He leaves behind to cherish his wife, Autumn Tiara Williams; his children: Zara Ja'Niya Williams, Jemel Lewis Williams, Jr. and Zoraya Jamella Williams; his mother, Phyllis Giselle Staton, his sister, Akita Evette Taylor; two special sisters: Ashley McArthur and Latonya Johnson; three brothers: Jimmy Lee Williams Jr, Leonard Antonio Williams and Darrian Hudson; a host of in-laws that held a special place; nine nieces and nephews: Alexus, Nitrail, Malaeka, Kha'Lil,, Anthony, Taneshia, LaMiya, Rayona, Geneva and Asi'hana; a special niece, Alycee Jones; six great nieces and nephew and a host of aunts and uncles from Hoffman NC, Winston Salem NC, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida and Virginia. We the family thank you and appreciate all the acts of kindness and love showed during this difficult time. May God forever bless you. A private memorial will be held for Mr. Williams and there will be no public viewing.
