Mrs. Intisar Bilal (aka Jacqueline Elaine Powell) transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

Mrs. Intisar Bilal was born on August 6, 1950 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Aaron Powell and Mrs. Emma W. Shouse. She graduated from Atkins High School in 1969 in Winston Salem, NC.

Intisar was married to Amin Bilal on August 20, 1972; they were married 52 years. As a military spouse, she resided in New Jersey and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida.

She was employed as a realtor with Watson Realty for over 25 years in Jacksonville Florida until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, rescuing animals and helping her clients find their dream home.

Intisar was proceeded in death by her father Mr. Aaron Powell; stepfather Mr. William Shouse; sister, Constance L. Powell and niece, Keia S. Smith.

Intisar leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Mr. Amin Bilal; her mother, Mrs. Emma W. Shouse; sister's, Mrs. Patricia Burton and Mrs. Yvonne Abdullah; niece, LaTonya Powell-McCummings (Michael Johnson); nephew, Marcus Burton; great niece, Chandler McCummings; great nephew, Kendall Williams; and a host of family, relatives, and friends.

There will be no public viewing, Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2024 in Piedmont Memorial Gardens Chapel.
