Hildred Lineberger, daughter of the late Forest and Mamie Lineberger departed this life on Saturday July 25, 2020 at the Oaks Rehabilitation center after an extended illness. She was born on June 17, 1929 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Snookie as she was so fondly called attended school locally here in Winston-Salem and was of the Baptist Faith.

Snookie loved to cook; she made the best dressing and fried cornbread. She was an avid fan of western movies, and loved to drink coffee.

She was preceded in death by two daughters Brenda and Linda Lineberger. Four brothers: J.C, James, Council, and Craymond Lineberger. Four sisters: Mrs. Jessie Benson, Ms. Ethel Partlow, Mrs. Mable Knight and Mrs. Mildred McKenzie.

Her survivors include one daughter Ms. Carolyn Lineberger. Four grandchildren: Rodney, Rodrick, Ronald (Tracey) Lineberger and Shemika Lineberger. And numerous great grandchildren. Two nieces Doris Brown and Mildred Watson and nephew Donald (Angie) Lineberger. A devoted great niece Stephanie Benson.

And a host of other devoted relatives and special friends.

A private memorial service will be held. There will be no public viewing.
