Henrietta S. Timmons was born on June 10, 1943 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to James A. Sturdivant and Mamie Sturdivant, now deceased. After caring for family and countless others throughout her life, she completed her earthly assignments and gained her heavenly wings on July 1, 2026 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

She was a graduate of Carver High School who found joy and a calling in caring for others. For more than thirty years of her life, she was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Forsyth Memorial Hospital, the position from which she retired. Henrietta displayed such genuine compassion for her job.

Henrietta enjoyed the little things in life. She loved God and always tried to do the right thing. Henrietta practiced her faith in the community and at Piney Grove Baptist Church where she participated in many church ministries as often as possible. When she was not helping someone, she found joy in walking fast and shopping especially.

There was nothing little about how much she loved her family. She loved being a mom, but when grandchildren and great-grandchildren came into the picture, she had a greater love and to add a set of great-grand twins, she was ecstatic. When people encountered her, they would say, "Aww, she's so cute" or "She's so sweet!"

She leaves to cherish her most precious memories: daughters, Angela O'Neal and Stephanie Lyes (Tony); grand-children, Rashad O'Neal (Toniquia), Tavon O'Neal (Trish), Daquan Timmons, and Antonio Lyes; great-grandchildren, Rashad O'Neal, Jr., Adonis O'Neal, Armarni O'Neal, Nova O'Neal, and twin boys, Kayde and Kash O'Neal; sisters, Mary Dobson, Pauline Leak (Pete), Nancy Brayboy and Yolonda Sturdivant (Johnny); and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends, all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Public viewing Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service, Thursday, July 9, 2026, 12:00 PM at White Rock Baptist Church, 1233 E. Fourteenth Street, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27105. The family will greet friends thirty-minutes priors to service.
