Obituary

sGloria Dean Deloris Burwick was called home in the early morning of Sunday January 26, 2025. She closed her eyes for the last time and had a peaceful passing in her sleep she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Gloria was born in Winston-Salem, NC on February 8, 1945 the only child born to parents Eather Burwick and Howard Cobb. While she was primarily raised in Orangeburg and Columbia SC, she later in life moved to Boston Massachusetts where she spent more than 60 years working as a Nurse's Assistant both in the public and private sector and raising her children and grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her three adult children, Antonio T. Benson, Donna D. Benson, and Victoria M. Forbes and daughter-in-law Carolyn Benson as well as a host of grandchildren; Victor T. Benson, Giovanni T. Benson, Stephon T. Benson, Antonia M.N. Benson, Ashley S. Hailey, Brittany T. Lewis and Jediah D. Alestock and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Blessed with 79 Years of life on this earth, she is at peace now and while her journey here is complete, her memory and her spirit will always live on. Her love for music and dancing was always with her and she is now joined with her loved ones.
