Gloria Watson Campbell, 85, was born in Winston-Salem to the late James and Oneta Watson. Gloria was educated in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools and she was a proud graduate of Atkins High School, Class of 1958.

Gloria married the late Graham Franklin Campbell in 1961. They were married 45 years until his death in 2007. Gloria held various bookkeeping and accounting positions over the years which included employment with the State of North Carolina and A&P Grocery Store Headquarters. Once her children were adults, she received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from NC A&T University. Gloria's love for children called her to work as a Teacher Assistant at Colfax Elementary, where she retired.

Mrs. Campbell passed away on Monday March 24, 2025. She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Gregory Campbell, Gigi (Michael) Conrad, Jr. and Garry Campbell; grandchildren: DeAsia Jones, Dwain (DeQuaria) Jones Jr., Michael Conrad, III, Najeanna Logan; three great grandchildren: Davyn Jones, Dayana Jones and Daymya Jones; 2 bonus granddaughters: DeMarii and DeMonii; a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and dear friends.

Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday March 29, 2025 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at 11:00 AM. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Campbell may be publicly viewed today from 12 PM~6PM.
