Mrs. Geraldine P. Hauser, 84, was born May 1, 1934 in Winston-Salem, NC. She transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday August 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harold L. Hauser; her parents, Vaudra and Annie Pennington; her sister, Jacqueline and her brothers, Freddie and Bobby. Mrs. Hauser attended Atkins High School and Winston-Salem State University where she received her degree in education. She taught in the Detroit public school system. Waiting to see her again are her daughters: Karen, Sonya and Tanya; her granddaughters McKenzie, Evan and Zoe, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hauser's funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at St. Phillips Moravian Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
