Mrs. Georgia J. Glenn, 78, left this world to be with the Lord on July 9, 2017 surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 12, 1939 to the late Ada Beatrice Stimpson. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late David Lee Glenn.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Ms. Valerie Glenn of Charlotte, NC and Ms. Sonya Glenn of Winston-Salem, NC; three granddaughters, Crystal Medley of Atlanta, GA, Carolyn Medley and Michele Medley of Charlotte, NC; three great-grandchildren, Christopher, Aiden, and Melody; dear aunt, Lillian Stimpson; dear cousin, Lola Black; special friends, Annette Nichols and Ramona Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Carver Road Church of Christ with Brother Larry Glenn officiating. The family visitation will be held at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Carver Road Church of Christ or Senior Services of Winston-Salem Meals on Wheels.
