Gary Marvin Ferrell was born to the late Ernest Bethel Ferrell, Sr. and Frances Ferrell on January 15, 1949 in Lawndale, North Carolina. Mr. Ferrell passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

Gary was educated in the Winston Salem Forsyth County schools.

He was employed in other positions and retired from Centenary Methodist Church after many years of service.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Bethel Ferrell, Sr. and Frances Ferrell; brother Ernest Ferrell, Jr.; sister, Carol (Xavier) Campbell.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pamela Ferrell; his children, Latoya (Chris) Barkley, Amanda (Fred) Morrison, Kimberly Nails; his brothers, Lester (Catherine) Ferrell, Don and Robert Ferrell; six nieces, Tomika, Michelle, Verena, Latoya, Shanita and Tiffany; two nephews, Ryan and Lionel; a devoted mother-in-law, Overseer Elizabeth Nesmith; several close friends of the family, Ramelle and Donte; and a host of grandchildren and extended family members.

Public viewing for Mr. Ferrell will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Clark S. Brown & Sons Chapel.
