Mrs. Ethel W. Braddy's Obituary
Mrs. Ethel Gladys Washington Braddy, 109, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 following a period of illness.
She was born to the late George Carlos Washington and Amanda Douthit Washington in Forsyth County, NC, on September 5, 1907. She attended the historic Oak Grove School and was a faithful member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Dilcy Braddy and a son, Charles Braddy; several generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Piney Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
