Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Howell was born on June 22, 1921 in Yadkin County, North Carolina to the late John and Maude Jones. She attended the Yadkin County School System. Mrs. Howell was employed as a Private Duty Certified Nurse Assistant. She was a dedicated member at Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church where she served faithfully for many years until her health started to decline.

Mrs. Howell departed this life October 22, 2021. She is survived by her sons, Reverend Gary (Lillian) Walker, Albert (Beverly) Walker; daughters, Brenda (Delma) France, Linda Gray, Brenda Cunningham, and Georgia Ann Madison of Petersburg, VA; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Bethlehem AME Zion Church. Mrs. Howell may be publicly viewed from 12:00 PM~5:00 PM on October 29, 2021 at Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home and 45 minutes prior to the service at the church.
